Growing up we often imagine and dream about what our lives will look like, especially what we think our families will look like and no one prepares us for the fact that it may not be that easy!
I work with individuals who are on their family planning journey, and have specialized training to work with those who are experiencing fertility, pregnancy/ infant loss (including TFMR), the transition to parenthood and postpartum anxiety and/or depression and other mental health concerns.
I volunteer with Postpartum Support International and have been facilitating online support groups through their organization for the past few years.
I believe that community, and support are tremendously important aspects of our wellbeing and also offer some Group Therapy options. These groups can be a good way to access therapy and build support networks and community at the same time. (Please visit the Group Therapy section of our website for details on which groups we have coming up!)
Relationships are hard, no one gives us a manual that teaches us how to build and maintain heathy communication and attachment. There are certain times in our lives that come with added stress and can leave us feeling disconnected from our partner (helloooo parenthood just to name one!) and my goal is to offer couples new tools and strategies to be able to reconnect and rebuild a relationship that feels good for both parties. For my work with couples, I pull from a variety of training modalities (depending on the specific needs of the couple that I am working with) but I largely follow the Gottman method.
As I have personal experience in a first responder family and have years of experience working with military and first responder couples I recognize that these individual face additional unique stressors in their relationships that are important to be acknowledged and supported in our work together.
Outside of my couples therapy, I am also a Gottman 7 Principles for Healthy Marriages leader and facilitate workshops and couples intensives with my colleague. These are wonderful options for couples who are looking for some support but may not want the time commitment of couples therapy - please visit that 7 Principles section of our website for more details and to determine if this could be a good fit for you.

When I’m not at work you can likely find me either dreaming about a vacation, planning a vacation or going on a vacation ;). I will find every opportunity to find the ocean, chase the sunshine and experience new places with my favourite people (and you better believe I will find all the delicious treats and snacks along the way!).

I am a firm believer that everyone, at one point or another, can benefit from some help navigating life’s ups and downs. I aim to provide an open and compassionate approach, with a sprinkle of humour.
When working with individuals I draw on a number of modalities to best meet client’s needs.
With couples I primarily utilize the Gottman Method, focusing on a dyadic approach helping couples learn how to communicate with each other and work together to reconnect, manage conflict and developing deeper relationships. I have specialized training to work with couples who have experienced a trauma, or infidelity or when one partner is experiencing PTSD.
When working with couples I offer traditional weekly or bi-weekly session formats or an intensive marathon approach of 3 consecutive days. I also offer couples workshops and intensives (please see the 7 Principles section of our website for more details).
In my work I provide family therapy and parenting assistance, where I draw from my secondary work as a licensed Signs of Safety trainer and consultant. I help families to develop plans to address whatever issue is occurring in the home that is making it more difficult for the family unit to be successful, safe and bonded.
-
When I’m not at work you can likely find me cooking non-stop for the hungry teenagers in my home, or at one of their hockey or football games. I also love to travel and am continually trying to find new places in the world to explore!

Therapy services are offered in a safe, confidential space to support young people, adults and/or families in navigating life’s challenges. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults facing a variety of difficulties, including school stress, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, self-esteem issues, and social relationships. I also support adults seeking to improve their mental health and well-being, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress management, trauma, and personal growth. For families, I offer guidance on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and coping with life transitions, providing personalized strategies to meet each family’s unique needs.
My approach focuses on strengthening connections, enhancing communication, and fostering mutual understanding within the family. Using therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s age and needs, I help youth develop emotional management skills, build confidence, and improve their overall well-being. My goal is to empower them with the tools to better understand and navigate their challenges, allowing them to thrive.

When I'm not working, I'm deeply involved in caring for my daughter and have been dedicated to supporting someone with unique challenges for over 20 years. I cherish spending time with my siblings and love exploring new activities with my daughter, nieces, and nephews. I have also started travelling and it is quickly becoming a passion of mine.

I’m here to support children (4+), teens, and young adults, recognizing that everyone’s journey is unique. I believe in offering personalized therapy that feels right for each individual, focusing on play therapy and somatic experiencing to help clients process their emotions and experiences in a compassionate and safe space. I also partner with parents, guiding them with practical tools and understanding to help them better support their child’s emotional growth and well-being.
I’ve always had a passion for working with young people, and it’s something that has grown over the years, starting from my time in daycare and as a substitute teacher. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges young people face as they navigate their emotional and psychological development.
As a bilingual therapist, fluent in both French and English, I’m able to offer my services in whichever language feels most comfortable. My approach is collaborative and centered around you—whether you’re a parent looking for support, a teen managing life’s ups and downs, or a young adult navigating transitions. Together, we’ll explore, understand, and transform the challenges you're facing into opportunities for growth, creating a path forward that feels empowering and right for you.

I believe that we all have unique qualities, strengths and challenges. I work from a client centred approach to help clients address the areas in which they desire to experience change and healing.
I use an integrative approach to therapy drawing tools and techniques from various theoretical backgrounds including Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I see my role as journeying with clients as we collaboratively explore their past and present experiences, current patterns, and personal values to find the best path to their healing and growth.

I am a mother of 4 children between the ages of 15-22. When I’m not at the office, you can often find me at home catching up with my husband, or the kids, over a coffee.
I also like to fill my time with reading, keeping up with family and friends, enjoying nature and getting to watch the kids play volleyball, or perform music.

As a therapist I am warm, grounded and down to earth. I spend time making sure clients feel safe and heard in sessions. I find my approach very eclectic - pulling from a tool box of modalities and working in collaboration with clients to find what irks best for them and their nervous system.
I often work with LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse folx. I provide feminist and affirming care that is anti oppressive. I spent time working in counselling in the non profit sector which has helped guide my approach.

A style of sleep support that you can trust. I will not guide you down a path that doesn’t align with your values. I will not tell you that you are doing everything wrong. Clients come away from our consults feeling validated and empowered, trusting their intuition about their child’s sleep, with a new toolkit on how to improve things for the entire family.
My gentle sleep support is tailored to your family. None of my suggestions include traditional sleep training or crying-it-out, at all, and that is a guarantee.
Rather we work on managing expectations, creating a menu of tools to help with sleep, understanding upcoming developmental milestones and “sleep regressions” and how to cope with them. Identifying the sweet spots when changes can be made more easily, planning how to find balance in your family and care for yourself, and of course offer the tried-and-true tips and tricks from working with hundreds of families - all to gently and respectfully nudge sleep in a direction you are hoping.
A developmental approach is taken to support optimal bonding and growth which is very different from the behavioural approach that many sleep trainers take. What this offers is the space for you as parents to follow your instincts and intuition when it comes to your child’s sleep.
Sleep support is available for any age up to age 12. It is wonderful to learn about prenatally, and we can support through infancy, toddlerhood and childhood.
Further we have partnered with registered social worker Kimberly Tran and all of our consults will include information and guidance to support your entire family’s mental well being.

I live a busy and beautiful life in a blended family of six, raising four wonderful kids with my partner. I love spending time outdoors, forest bathing, hugging trees, diving into a good book and being in the moment with my kids. I am also learning how much I love taking care of ME and my nervous system, with breath work, yoga, movement, somatic work and more. I can’t wait to hear about your favourite self-care practice and help you find balance and to prioritize it!
